Distance running option on the roads also available. All pace levels and walkers welcone. | | Winter | Downtown YMCA | 6:00 PM | Out and back distance run along the Cedar River Trail. | | Thursday | | Summer | Bever Park, meet at Washington High School | 6:00 PM | Summer: Usually a hill workout at Bever Park, although flat routes are available. Winter route from "Y" north on Cedar Valley Nature Trail out and back, various distance and pace groups. | | Winter | Downtown YMCA | 6:00 PM | | Saturday | | Summer | Sac & Fox Trail, East Post Rd. Trailhead | 7:00 AM | Longer distance runs, but usually an out an back route so all distances welcome. Group run may not occur if there is an area race that morning. | | Winter | Cedar Rapids Running Wild Parking Lot | 7:00 AM | | Sunday | | Summer | Sac & Fox Trail, East Post Rd. Trailhead | 8:00 AM | Out and back distance runs, so all distances and paces welcome. | | Winter | Spring House Restaurant | 8:00 AM | Cedar Valley Nature Trail. Out and back longer distance runs, with shorter routes available. Runners often stay for breakfast afterward. |
