12th Annual Fossil & Prairie Park 5K Challenge Run, Sept. 11th 2010
Check in/Walk in registration from 8:30-9 am. Race begins at 9:30 am.
Check in at the Fossil & Prairie Park Preserve, 1227 215th St., Rockford IA  There will be transportation to race start.  Cost is $15 before Aug. 31st and $20 after Aug. 31st.  Registration includes: door prize drawing, long sleeve t-shirt and refreshments.  Medals for top three places in age divisions. This is a true cross county race.  Participants start in the town of Rockford, trabel along what was the railroad tracks to the Rockford Brick & Tile Co. site, along the quarry where Devonian fossils are found, and then through native Iowa prairie.  Course is mostly mowed grass trails
